he Dopamines hebben de aller beknopste bio die je op MySpace maar kunt vinden: "We're a punk band from Cincinnati Ohio. We don't have cool hair cuts." That's it. Wat weten we wel over deze band: Gitaar/bas/drums trio dat momenteel samen met The Apers door Nederland tourt. The Dopamines spelen een goede mix van poppunk, powerpunk en een vleugje Epi-Fat sound van de vroege jaren 90. Mede mogelijk gemaakt door veel te veel alcohol. If The Dopamines don’t get you movin’, you’re probably already dead and just don’t know it yet.
The Hitchcocks uit Denemarken beginnen in 2006 oorspronkelijk meer als punkabilly. Binnen het jaar verandert hun muziek meer naar horror punk, old school en street punk. "The music is reminiscent of The Ramones added a little Misfits, and grained up with lyrics that pays tribute to the late Alfred Hitchcock and to the horror genre in general. With most of the songs clocking in just around the 2 minute mark, The Hitchcocks are stripped down no-nonsense punk in its truest sense."
