The Fankaz are born in June 2003 with lidea to play proper pieces in style melodic Skate-core. After varied changes of formation, the arrival and the departure of so many friends formation momentarily settles in: Ricky (guitar and voice), Mora (bass and voice) and Pole (drum). The group that pushes them to play I am, the Belveder. This brings them to inspire him to all that groups that belong to this scene and to mature a style similar to the Skatepunk and to the technical hardcore as: Belvedere, This is A Standoff, A Wilhelm Scream, BigWig, Strung Out, Action Men, Pendleton, Forus, SunEatsHours, Lagwagon, Venerea,...

Still Bleak” are the expectations if you pace the world with eyes wide open. That “bleak” even, that it’s not surprising that anger and frustration are the results - in default of resignation... this is mirrored in our lyrics and in our sound enriched with cynism and irony. We do not hide our musical passion but play an ambivalent blend of punk and hardcore – melodic parts, as well as brachial mosh-outros and/or concerted vocals are our repertoire. We already toured through europe and played tons of gigs in germany. We were founded in ulm/germany in november 2008 and now we are ready to showcase our passion for punkrock.

- Charlie bit my finger (BE)
ebruari 2011 is Charlie Bit My Finger opgericht.
Muzikanten die al een tijdje niet meer in een project zaten kregen terug de zin om samen te komen en te starten aan iets nieuw!
Na lange tijd twijfelen over de bandnaam, hadden we nog 2 keuzes; "The bloody dipshits" of "Charlie Bit My Finger", het is wel duidelijk dewelke het geworden is. :)
Charlie Bit My Fnger haalt z'n inspiratie uit de Californische punkrock uit de jaren '90! Blink182, Sum41, Bad Religion, NOFX, NUFAN zijn maar enkele namen van bands waar we ons, qua genre, mee mogen vergelijken.
