These guys are (getting) super huge in the States but are still super underground over here... super folkpunk, get into it!
FFO: Frank Turner, Ducking Punches, Ghost Mice, Ramshackle Glory, Joyce Manor, Against Me!, Hard Girls, Smith Street Band, Jeff Rosenstock, Laura Stevenson
Singer Sean Bonnette of AJJ recently played with Frank Turner at the Melkweg and the full band played Holland with The Smith Street Band and last October with Caves in Arnhem. The lyrics are sometimes bleak and sometimes with a hopeful outlook on life with songtitels like ‘The Michael Jordan of Drunk Driving’ and ‘Love in the Time of Human Papillomavirus’.
AJJ just released their 5th album Christmas Island which received a 4 star review on punknews.org!
