My first reaction when I got this demo from The Package kid was, wow! Those guys are really doin' it professional. But...where the fuck is 'encounter with a dead man'? The song on their myspace profile that made me get up and buy their demo...

The Package kid is a new band consisting of ex-The Deal members and plays a mixture of post-hardcore and some alternative sounding punkrock. The 3 songs on this demo are nice and I'm sure there's a huge public for this music, but I'm missing something that 'encounter...' had...and that was a cool melody..something that sticks you know? the nah nah nah nah nah nah factor on that song...

Other than that, if you're into the newer kinda punkrock bands, The Package Kid is gonna make you happy! I'd like to hear a lil' more chorus and old-school hardcore influences....drop the 'post' in that hardcore sentence...what does post-hardcore mean anyways? It's stupid...let's face it.

This is a band bound to get bigger especially in the Belgian scene!!!
