We are really proud to announce that Gewapend Beton became koala's of the Crucial Attack family. Crucial Attack Records will release their “Empty Batteries” 12 EP in cooperation with La Familia to support the Gewapend Beton two week tour from December 19th till January 3th.
The record will be available on tour, but the officiall release streetdate is February 7th. Gewapend Beton then will wreck the OCCII in Amsterdam together with the Dutch kings of punk Antidote, labelmates Bratpack, Citizens Patrol and the event will be opened by Adolf Butler. Entrance will be 5 euro and starts at 21.00, be there!

Gewapend Beton started out in 2003 and released their first demo cd-r ''Embryo Punk'' the same year. Then the band recorded 7 songs in 2004 and it took almost a year before the split LP with the Bakfiets boys “Nederpunk Gaat Door” came out. After lots of cool shows Gewapend Beton hit the studio again in 2007 to record their first full length LP/CD ''17 Until We Die''.
In 2008 the Embryo Punx strike again with “Empty Batteries” and after the intensive touring around Europe became even more outstanding! Six songs of perfect blazing hardcore-punk with an intensity which proves that after all their batteries are fully charged!

Gewapend Beton is iig de beste liveband van Nederland. Nog nooit een band gezien die er zo hard aan werkt. Rete-retestrak, energiek en ze hebben ook nog eens wat te melden. Ook in het buitenland weten iedere avond de zaal helemaal los te laten gaan. Geweldig.
dat ligt er dan weer net aan wat je onder punk verstaat en wat onder hardcore, eigelijk kan je alles wat harder en sneller is dan the damned/the saints/slaughter and the dogs/buzzcocks etc etc wel hardcore noemen dus dan zijn wij idd net zo hardcore als bijvoorbeeld the varukers,discharge en the exploited:) die termen zeggen geen fuck, en luister eerst maar de hele 12 inch voordat je er een labeltje op gooit aub:)
Granted, misschien dat ik em er wel nog een keer tegenaan gooi, maar vind het over t algemeen niet zo tof wat ik ken. Zelfde heb ik ook met een kezus krijst of blok 1A. But like I said, tis leuk als dr succes mee word geboekt, daar niet van...
lieve embryopunk. de 3 nummers die ik hoorde vond ik meer de hardcore kant op neigen. met een mooie punk inslag (en het is inderdaad met wat je onder punk en onder hardcore verstaat ;) ). Wacht met smart op de rest van de nummers.
