DISCHARGE THE STORY SO FAR.......
DISCHARGE originally formed in 1977 with :-
TEZ VOCALS
BONES GUITAR
RAINY GUITAR
NIGEL BAMFORD BASS
AKKO DRUMS
Shortly after, the line up became:-
TEZ VOCALS
BONES GUITAR
RAINY BASS
AKKO DRUMS
The line up remained the same until the back end of 1979 when the line up became:-
CAL - VOCALS
RAINY-BASS
BONES-GUITAR
TEZZ on DRUMS
"I saw DISCHARGE playing at a local hall they were the most energetic and fastest group I'd seen[and original] my immediate reaction was lets make a record.
The 4 track E.P. was released in MARCH 1980.
After the record was played by JOHN PEEL, the reaction was stunning the record immediately entered the
INDIE CHART and the BUZZ started.
Then came FIGHT BACK and DECONTROL."

TEZZ left DISCHARGE and played in VARIOUS BANDS eventually ending up playing for the U.K. SUBS,
BROKEN BONES and has since played with:-

DISCIPLINE
REVOLTING COCKS
PEG BOY
Enter new drummer BAMBI who played on the 12" WHY then left.
So DISCHARGE yet again had a set back,
fortunatley GARRY MOLONEY from Leamington Punks, THE VARUKERS,
turned up and played on STATE VIOLENCE through to THE MORE I SEE.
After recording STATE VIOLENCE, BONES made his move to form BROKEN BONES.
After several auditions POOCH, a friend of GARRY, joined and recorded on
THE PRICE OF SILENCE, WARNING and THE MORE I SEE
After a U.S. tour he departed to form
HELLS BELLS at this time GARRY also left DISCHARGE.
Rather than disband CAL and RAINY decided to make another record with the help of 2 friends,
LES HUNT who played for DEMON and MICK from a band called HEYMAKER the result being IGNORANCE.
After this GARRY who had kept in touch decided to come back on DRUMS to be joined by
FISH from THE SKEPTIX on GUITAR,
DISCHARGE at last are back into action but there has been a change in direction and style,
FINALLY AFTER 9 YEARS RAINY QUITS. APART
FROM CAL THE LAST ORIGINAL MEMBER SINCE THE RECORDING DAYS.
In comes NICK BUSHELL [BASS] for the ill fated GRAVE NEW U.S.A TOUR.
Needless to say Discharge split a few months after the tour.
Two albums were released with another Discharge line up consisting of
Cal, Garry and two other people. (info on this to be added)

In 2000 TEZ returns home from U.S.A to reform DISCHARGE and regain the bands credibility.
as he was disgusted at what the band that he had formed had become.
In 2001 he got the original (recording) line up back together and
Discharge released a kicking punk masterpiece entitled DISCHARGE
Unfortunatly CAL decides that he's had enough and doesn't want to continue
so out goes CAL and in comes RAT from THE VARUKERS
