Noctophyle is the hard/punkrock band from the area Den Haag/Leiden. Influenced by the great gods of sleazy rock like Nashville pussy, Peter Pan Speedrock, Motorhead and Dropkick Murphy's they went into a basement at the beginning of 2004 to write their own songs. After two months they came out, scarred by smoke and alcohol, to record their first five songs. This demo CD called "Yank the Trigger" delivered them a hell of a lot of gigs all over Holland, and soon they got a raw, fast and powerful live reputation.
In 2005 even more shows were played all over the country, and the first gigs across the border were played. In the summer of 2005 they released their second demo CD called "Sledge Hammered". This demo got them even more shows, and got promising reviews in the music magazines. So far the story goes. Noctophyle is going faster than you can handle, and you won't stop 'em, whatever you try. |
