HISTORY:
MAROON was formed in the beginning of 1998. All the members played in several Bands before. In the last 6 years the Band was busy playing and touring all over Europe. The band just finished a very successful South American Tour in Summer 2003. After their European Tour in February 2002 they’ve finally released their debut-album called “ANTAGONIST” on Catalyst Records, a label based in Indianapolis / USA. The first press was sold out after 2 weeks, and that without any promotion campaign around the CD release.
The band decided to sign a new contract with Alveran Records and to re-release their debut full length CD “ANTAGONIST”, so here we go. The request for this CD is still immense and the band is already done with their work on a new full length for Alveran, which will see the daylight on June 1 / 2004.
The band will be on tour all Summer to promote their new full length, see them on several Festivals around Europe such as With Full Force, Pressure Fest, European HC Party and so much more…
A trip to Japan and a return to South America is in the works and we should be able to announce some news soon.
Their live shows are one of the most intense and most brutal ones around these days.
The band got voted as one of the top 3 bands at this year’s PRESSURE FEST – Summer Edition 2003. Check them out this summer all over Europe.
