Richmond's Down To Nothing saw their inception largely due to a deep appreciation of and inspiration by the great straight edge bands they had grown up listening to. Their goal was to play music in the same styles as the bands who had gotten us into hardcore in the first place. After recording a cd-demo, and circulating that through local and regional shows, it attracted positive feedback and spread their name to new cities and faces. DTN offers an energetic, fast-paced, hardcore sound that will appeal to fans of TIME FLIES, COUNT ME OUT, CARRY ON, CHAMPION, and IN MY EYES.
DTN's first release will be a seven inch on DEAD BY 23 RECORDS (Final Plan, One Up, etc.) They just finished an east coast tour with their friends STAY GOLD (Indecision Records), HORROR SHOW (Deathwish Inc.), and ONE UP (Dead By 23 Records) in summer of 2002. The band is also featured on FIGHTING MUSIC VOLUME II.
